Originally from the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, Todd began making scaled models of famous buildings and bridges as early as middle school. Going on to enroll in architecture and engineering classes in high school, and then again at the University of Hartford, his path became clear.

Todd’s architectural experience dates back to his days in graduate school where he was based out of Hartford.  From the beginning of Todd's professional career, he continued his passion for model making where his work began to be displayed publicly and even in a museum internationally.  With skills and knowledge already well developed, contributions to school and library buildings in his portfolio, and a Master of Architecture degree in hand, Todd eventually focused his job search on finding a design firm that would foster leadership, growth, and collaboration. The hunt led him to Svigals + Partners, where Todd feels he truly belongs.

In his role as an architectural designer, Todd actively contributes to the project development efforts at all phases, from planning to documentation. Todd also uniquely conducts live Revit and Enscape workshop meetings with clients and consultants and provides graphic support for presentations.

What You Might Not Know

Todd was part of the design team that helped reopen the Anchor Spa, a bar that’s a local legend here in New Haven. (The New York Times did a write-up about it.)

Art projects, kayaking, video games and travel occupy much of Todd’s time outside of work.
