Amanda found her passion for architecture early, spending time as a child building things with her father. At age 13, her family began a project of building their new home. She saw it all: the raw site, then the foundation, the wood framing-suddenly, Amanda was hooked. During high school, she spent time working for a home developer doing CAD drafting and took honors in statewide architectural design competitions.

With significant practical experience already under her belt, Amanda earned her B.Arch. at Roger Williams University where she was an Honor Society inductee. Job-hunting after graduation, she interviewed with Svigals + Partners. The firm’s focus on art piqued her curiosity -she minored in art/architectural history-but her first visit to the lively, art-strewn offices clinched it: She’d found her tribe.

Amanda’s contributions as a designer are indispensable. She excels at collaborating with team members, consultants and clients to produce high-quality construction documents with Revit/BIM software. She also brings specialized knowledge of renovation projects, including an understanding of the coordination required for phased renovations.

What You Might Not Know

She discovered “la dolce vita” while living and studying architecture + art in Firenze.

The theater and art museums are favorite indulgences, but she might enjoy skiing in Montana and Utah even more!

Amanda collaborated on a project to convert part of a parking garage into a fitness center at Yale-New Haven Hospital-which just happens to be where she was born.
