Collaboration

Close collaboration between the developer, the City and Svigals' set the stage for refreshing this historically central urban zone. The Atwood enhances the existing village appeal by offering generous sidewalks, outdoor seating and room for people to congregate and be visible.

Result

University Commons creates a walkable village with expanded public space -- a new and magnetic center that will serve as a foundation for business prosperity and a resource for local needs. The development boasts new retail frontages, restaurants and the triangular Village Green.
