Collaboration

Serving seven nearby towns, this magnet school needed to galvanize the interest of potential students and their families. An interactive process brought together and energized this new constituency to assure the enrollment of a vibrant student body.

Art Integration

Working with the Discovery Museum, children explored themes of sustainability and humanity's impact on the planet. Their sculptures were interwoven with the masonry facade creating an organic passage to the wetlands.

Result

A building that teaches. Everyday, the experience of being in this school profoundly connects the students to responsibilities of living in harmony with nature and each other. Simply by being there, they are living with the natural environment.
