Collaboration

Collaborating with the developer and City, Svigals designed the rhythmic and colorful massing, finished in brick and fiber-cement board siding suggestive of multiple brick buildings, to resemble a traditional American village center.

Art Integration

Vibrant wall art is featured throughout bringing youthful energy to what is primarily student housing for the University of New Haven. The color and happiness were much appreciated as students navigated the pandemic during Park View’s inaugural year.

With its lively feel, modern materials, and abundance of natural light, Park View is the perfect complement to the cafés, outdoor seating, and entertainment spaces planned for this area revitalization.
