Underpinning of two neighboring buildings as well as the 16 inch concrete walls of the theatre were just a few of the “big” challenges met on this tight urban site through both engineering innovation and community engagement.

Result

A simple palette of materials -- painted concrete block, exposed structural decking, laminated counter with clear acrylic supports – are elevated by their installation detailing that gives a raw, fun, backstage feeling throughout.
