A recent graduate of the nearby University of New Haven, Mary brings to our studio a B.A. in interior design and a passion for the power of a well-designed space to transform the people in them. A highly-organized problem-solver by nature, she loves applying creative solutions to new challenges, and seeing where they lead.
Originally from Rochester, New York, Mary has a particularly keen interest in healthcare design, and has been paying close attention to our hospital and clinic projects currently on the boards. Aspiring to someday design (and redesign) hospitals to improve patient outcomes and experience, Mary is seriously considering pursuit of a Master of Architecture degree. Meanwhile, she is applying and developing her skills with our interior design studio, assisting with finish specification, space planning, and especially organizing the firm’s materials library, which she loves doing. (No, really.)
Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending downtime with friends and family, as well as traveling, sampling menus at new restaurants, and working out. But her work inspires her the most, developing palettes of colors and textures that balance function with delight for the senses.
What You Might Not Know
While at University of New Haven, Mary received the Exemplary Service to the University Award from the Art & Design department.
If she could experience another era, Mary says it would be the 1920’s, which she says was “filled with invention, creativity and industry growth.” She’s a Great Gatsby fan.
