Collaboration

New flexible meeting rooms are a valuable resource, while new faculty offices accommodate the fast-growing department. A connection to the sky-lit central gathering space marries vibrant energy with practical functionality.

Art Integration

Honoring the school’s legacy of excellence, interior artwork celebrates the University’s mission to encourage research and outreach by featuring the words of the school’s namesake, Henry Barnard, and the work of notable alumni.

Result

A new, large terrace creates a transition corridor and a sense of community, while a steel and concrete gateway inspires students coming and going with a reminder of the opportunity at hand: “Start with a Dream” and “Finish with a Future.”
