Part of multiple projects aimed at transforming the Bayer Pharmaceutical campus into a leading Yale University Research Center, the Yale West Campus Integrated Science and Technology Center (WISTC) becomes a collaborative facility where allied disciplines come together for innovative research.

Collaboration

Everything you need is here. The rich infrastructure of the former Bayer facility was efficiently and strategically transformed into a new home where disciplines in physical, biological, engineering and medical sciences can collaborate on new discoveries.

Art Integration

With a sensitivity to the unique research being performed as well as the connection to the University as a whole, branding elements incorporated into the design provided individual identity while remembering the greater academic community.

Result

The symbolism of the honeycomb recalled throughout combines with open, flexible laboratories transparent to everyone. A unique culture and sense of connectivity is expressed in the vitality of the Integrated Science and Technology Center.
